I was wondering, I've read the articles about the rotational speed of the mobile hdds and that the 7200rpm hdds perform a bit better than the 5400 ... but what does the hdd buffer do? I checked out a site that had a 5400rpm 16mb buffer...

I was wondering, what is the main difference between the ATI Mobility 9600 and the 9700. I'm thinking about getting the PowerPro 3:17 (Asus m6000) from powernotebooks.com and they have the 9600 in their CTO while they should be coming...
