Your CMOS battery must be getting weak and not saving your startup display
preference. See if the time is losing some seconds, that's a good indicator.

First, what software you use to record to CD or DVD? Second, if you go to CD
properties and enable the recording it should work unless there's some missing
driver or corrupted file in your Windows installation...
I opened it up to see the power jack and I found out that the power jack
is not even soldered to the motherboard. It connected to the motherboard

case here? This one got a square power connector not like the conventional
round metal plug which we see as the normal...
At 10% it should not overheat at all. Must be a hardware or cooling issue.
