Hello,
After formatting you need to install your video driver from Dell or NVIDIA for your video to work, and you will want to go to Dell and get all the other driver that you will need also.
Did you try an external monitor? This sounds like a problem that others has had with their I8200 when they flashed the video drivers, The LCD was not compatible with the new Bios.

I also have an MS intelimouse and I had to use MS Bluetooth to make it work, the new Dell driver seems to have corrected that problem. Now I don’t have to reconnect the mouse after each restart.

I use the spyder2 to set the color contrast no my laptop, with the spyder2 the colors are more realistic so your laptop will also do a better job at photo editing.
