Tried it, this seems like a bios issue to me though? It never even can get to the point of bootin up Windows w/ the lid closed.

I have a L-D505 and d/port but I figure this is probably an issue that spans all of Dell's notebooks so if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it. I can't start or restart the system with the lid closed. I have an external LCD hooked up...

There's a guy on eBay selling them... kinda expensive IMO. Good luck getting one from Dell I've been trying for 2 weeks to get a sticker for my notebook.

He said it wasn't letting him select it but I think I got him squared away now... I was looking in the Advanced properties when I looked at it.

I was using extended desktop w/ my D505 the other day and my brother wanted to try it with his 600m but we can't find the option for it. On mine I can just choose it in the Output to: on the context menu when I right click on my desktop...

Bought a D505 and have had it for little more than a week now. Overall pretty pleased w/ the system. Didn't need any gaming capabilities but still wanted decent performance for pretty much everything else. The biggest praise I can give...

I was looking at that monitor stand Dell sells... I think d/monitor stand or something... anyway, does anyone have one of these? Just wondering how heavy a monitor it can handle.
