I have a network, and even an CD-Burner for that matter. The issue is while the files I need are still on the hard drive; there is a virus or something preventing it from starting. So because it won't start, the only way to get the files...
Could someone suggest a device for me to buy. To allow me to connect/transfer files from my laptop's hard drive, to a working Desktop; without the use of the laptop? It needs a USB 1.1/, or ATA100 compatible interface.

Earlier today, I installed Cakewalk Home Studio 2 on my Inspiron 600m with a Sigmatel C-Major Audio Card/Driver.
Unfortunatly, I'm getting errors upon startup, and the inability to hear MIDI sounds...
My 600m's mobo failed, and had to be replaced a few months after getting it in november 2003.
Though it has been fine since then, and I'm typing on it now.
As far as the screen, you have to look at it very straightly...but it's not...
The 600m isn't the best gamer...no.
But there is a big difference in performance with the 64MB card...as to having the 32MB card...the video RAM is faster overall.
