I have had major headaches getting existing hardware such as my Epson Photo Printer (875DC), my HP scanner, and my webcam to work under Vista (the webcam that is built into this laptop is junk). I am having to use my desktop with XP...
Here is my biggest beef if I do indeed have 32-bit Vista on this new 64-bit machine. Isn't it true that you can't run 64-bit software under a 32-bit OS? If so then if HP is selling these machines with the 32-bit OS it is like...
When I purchase a 'top of the line' laptop I expect it to have software to take advantage of the hardware. If I wanted 32 Bit Vista I would have bought a cheaper laptop!
Thanks!
Do you happen to have a link or e-mail address for HP??
I just purchased a '9000' series HP laptop (64-bit dual core with 2 GB ram). If this is a true 64-bit laptop why did it come with the 32-bit version of Vista? Anybody know a good lawyer?
