Umm!! Not sure of the problem here. Looks like its time to reinstall XP at least. Could try uninstalling the dvd type programmes, checking through registry and folders for any reference to the programmes and reinstalling......maybe.

Do you have another machine you can test the mouse on? Maybe the mouse is knackered?

Aha!!! Switched 'Quickset' back on and all is well. Can increase the size of icons to large and keep them looking smooth. Superb!!
