Just to let everyone know that the system seen at CES costed $3800. This should be a guide line of what is going to come.

From what I have read, the main line of DX10 cards will come out 2H of 2007. When the ati M76XT comes out it will make nvidia cards look like they dont deserve to be called DX10 chips.

So I've talked the gateway on ways I could upgrade my 7405GX. The question is should I? The only upgrade i can make is to make the physical mem on my gpu bigger.

umm theres a cover on the bottom on my lappy and you can take it out by getting the screw loose

I think that the DX10 cards will have 320mb of mem, and one of them should coast around 700 - 800 per card.

Its only the X6800 that aint a quad core. The only quad cores from intel is the Q6600 and QX6700. =S
