New bios update on 10/25 fixed the issue with booting with using system encryption. I also upgraded to 8gigs ram it works. All is well in the world

It should work, leave the battery in and let it charge completely while off. Then use the charger full time. The lower watts should be ok to run and charge at same time, but it will just do it slower.
