I have an xps m1530 and it works great, i am running vista ultimate x64 on it. only issue is the fingerprint scanner app does not work (drivers do) with 64bit from dell. but you can get it from upek for $15
I was having heat issues with my e1505 hard drive area with get extremely hot and dell replaced it with an xps m1530.
I decided to give vista another shot(came with vista business). I loaded Windows Vista Ultimate x64 and so far all the devices are working. I am unable to use the fingerprint scanner. The driver works but the app is not available for free for x64.
My scanner does not have drivers (canon n1240u), I have been wanting to get a new scanner anyways. not...

I cant get my logitech v270 mouse working if i install the bluetooth drives though. The mouse will connect, no movment. I just install the mouse app and no bluetooth drivers and it works.
