The guys @ Fujitsu wants $700 SGD (US$300) to change motherboard. I junked it and got myself a used IBM R50 for $300 SGD (US$120). Will not touch a Fujitsu again....made in Japan not equal to quality anymore

Exact same problem as yours. Now it is just lying there being next to useless to me. Any luck on your side yet???
