Thank you again for your help. It turns out it was a bad inverter. Swapped the LCD out and it didn't fix the issue. Swapped out the inverter and at first, it didn't seem like anything happened. After a few minutes, the screen came to life.

Let me see if I understand what you're trying to say. You have both the 80 and 40 GB hdd installed but it refuses to boot from the 40 GB even if you change the boot sequence. Try running a self test on the HDD to see if it's still good....

I have a small problem with wireless as well but it's not too bad. I get randomly disconnected at times. I'm assuming it's just intereference from the cordless phone or my mouse.
