The same thing happened to me this weekend with my 600m. I downloaded and reinstalled the graphics drivers to fix mine. I don't know what I did to change them originally but I could not get them to change back no matter what I did.

Dell does cover the battery for one year. My 600m battery went completely dead after 2 months, I emailed dell and had a new one on my door the next morning with a return label for the bad one. No problems since. Sele
If you can't remember what side the backing was on, it is a good chance that you have yours on backwards. When I put mine on the difference was immediately noticable.
