Dude, just use PayPal. As soon as you see the funds in your account, transfer them to your bank account. Once payment is sent, scam or not, they cannot retrieve them without filing a claim.
I think you'll be filing a non-paying...

Same thing happened to me on Ebay, most likely a scam. If it is, just file it with Ebay and they'll refund your fees. If the dude's legit, wait until the money is in your bank account before shipping it out. If he pushes you to ship...
