Hello.. I've been out hte forums for quite long.. I have a question.. I've had my m1210 for almosta a year.. y lately, I've been hearing a high ptiched noise.. I suppose it is coming form the processor.. I have a Core2Duo T7200...
So they installed it... the heatsink and the fan... I really feel it alittle bit colder but still warm..
I'm still waiting for a technician to come... The parts were not here in Mexico so they had to import them... They said no more than 10 business days... Hope my temps get better... Although they were way higher... At just surfing...
Do you really thinks the BIOS is only reporting higher temps and not really getting hot?? 'Cause I really think the laptop is a lot hotter... Although since the BIOS update (or around it) I've noticed than a certain rundll32...
So, I talked to Dell and the agreed to replace my heatsink and the fan... Hope it gets resolved... Thanks to all...
