OK thanks again. The only laptop case I've really had any experience with is the one that came with my mom's million year old gateway solo, and that case has stayed under her bed for nearly the entire time she's had it.
The "white border that you don't like would look quite a bit different in reality as it is really brushed aluminum. It is really a quite attractive notebook, but I was initially put off by the design because of the pictures I saw on the net. Do notebooks from hypersonic come with a case, or do you need to spend extra $$$ on a targus case if you want some protection for your investment?

For those of you who haven't yet received e-mail responses from hypersonic, you may want to check your spam filters. I had to get my registration confirmation e-mail out of my spam folder. If I haden't have had that sort of experience before, I would have never thought to check there.
I did try search, but I was looking for something more specific to what a college student needs. I saw a thread up related to that topic, about 3mins before I became a registered user, but couldn't find it again later.

I am going to be a new college student this fall, and I'm getting a new laptop. I am currently looking at the Hypersonic AX6, but I would like to know what you all think about it.
I will be using it for wireless, DVDs, gaming, and other assorted college uses. Links to other laptop companies with the type of comp. I want would also be greatly appreciated. (AMD A64 is prefferable...
