Well, Dell got back to me and informed me that they are going to pick up my laptop and have it repaired at the Repair Depot. I am unsure about this because what I think they'll do (because they assume I'm ignorant) is replace a bunch...

I came across this thread last night, I checked my laptop, an e1505. I found 44v from the screws. I emailed dell and am waiting for them to contact me.
