if your worried about backgrounds have you checked the official wallpaper thread started by me over in the dell photo section? I have several widescreen wallpapers up and others have contributed them as well.

if you want 1gb modules, order them through newegg. I just bought 2x1gb modules for $490 shipped through newegg. They arrived in 2 days and I have both of them installed and running in my 8600.

Yea, its 2x 1GB modules of Kingmax from newegg. Cancel your order from dell and order from newegg. I have them in my laptop and they work just fine.

looks like your screen dpi is set to 120 instead of 96. Right click on the desktop and then goto properties. In display properties you can change the screen dpi

and at least reply to the people who sent you PMs letting them know that you arent interested

what specs and prices are you looking at in a 9100/XPS?
