Yea but the 2005 is only 1680x1050... you can display more on the 2001 at 1600x1200!
BTW I just found out! Dells gonna be bringing out a 24" widescreen!
The 2405FPW @ 1920x1200!
I'm planning on getting a couple more dell LCDs in the near future, but I was wondering if anyone has heard any rumors about dell putting out an LCD thats greater than 20".
Anyone know of anything in the pipeline?

If you were quoted the cheaper price, you should be able to argue until you get it. Ask to talk to customer care about it. You probably could talk to them about compensation for your troubles.
