well i went ahead and ordered the jansport data file from ebags.com total w/ shipping and a 15%off coupon came to around $58. the 8600 dimensions are just a little wide for the specs on the site but i think/hope/havemyfingerscrossed...
my memory is from Dell, they were had a "special" on memory and it was just as easy to get it from them than from someone else... i think it was like 10 bucks more...
you can google either one and get some places that sell them, ebags.com has both of them if i remember right.

well after some more searching around ive found a couple jansport bags that look good... the jansport data file and jansport flash. what do you guys think, my 8600 should fit alright in them.
