Yeah. You would get some significant gains from a 7900GTX or 7950GTX video card. On the CPU side, a T7200 is the best bang for the buck. Look at the first page of this thread for more detail.

True that. I fried my first single pipe GS with a bad BIOS flash. I ordered another GS dual pipe and it never gave me any trouble until the day I sold it. It was pretty heavily OC'd too.
You also have to look at the relatively small gains VS the bullshit involved with having a 3.5 laying next to your laptop all of the time. I can't even stand my USB drive sitting next to my rig.
