Actually Ive made some changes. I am getting the laptop for grad in June a nd im geting a 17in
Depending how much of a gamer you are I would recommend the HP dv9000t $1100 or theDell E1705 $1300 (better card)
My thread was 2 pages long with HP support. http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=116680
This wasnt the only thread I started. I started another thread at a different forum and the votes went towards the HP 16-3. Overall I have got more support for the HP actually. I didnt get enough support here to change my mind.
Well if I added the 7900 then they wouldnt be the same price. I think im just going with the HP dv9000t. Seems better.
the resolution is fine. I use 1024x760 or whatever it is on my 17in desktop monitor. Im concerned about picture quality.
Im not a hardcore gamer so I am not buying the 7900. Also, I heard the dell screen is better.

How is HP expensive? I can get an HP Pavilion dv9000t customizable Notebook PC EZ345AV– Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit) – Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo T2250 (1.73 GHz/2MB L2Cache) – 17.0"...
I dont care about new games and plus I heard that if I want a 7900GS for some reason in the future Im able to upgrade. I can also go for a HP dv9000t. They put 7600's in their laptops.
