If you are buying a notebook now you might as well wait for santa rosa which is due to come out in couple of dayes. If you really cant, have also a look on the Asus G1 which has a geforce 7700 and nice specs
it seems to me that Asus is more known in europe than in the states. After all, its the best motherboard producer IMHO. Anyway, I believe dell is a bit overpriced anyhow...
try uninstalling / reinstalling the company software which is reponsible for power savings. You can always make a fresh install of your windows copy and see if it fixes the problem. If it doesnt, contact the manufacturer
Hi, Im gonna buy a new laptop soon, but I was wondering if there was any info on Santa Rosa notebooks (ie. concrete models) The one I could find were the: Zepto 6625WD Toshiba G40 Asus C90 Looking at those notebooks Im shifting...
Well, Im not suprised. Anyone trying to sell outside of ebay is probably a scam. Anyway, report to ebay
depends the amount of gaming you do... I'd go for a nvidia card for gaming (and has better linux support)

be careful with non-mobile CPUs... They tend to overheat...
As for the lights on the Asus G1, they only light up when gaming (ie. Direct3d is being used). As for the look, I really like and am going to get one (Im a University entering my final year )
