nobody knows whether the CL51 keyboards are compatible with CL56? or how about CL50 and CL56? do they all use the same keyboard?
sigh.. how come all these places have the cl56 keyboard are out of stock.
Does teh CL51 and CL56 use the same keyboard? I just want to make sure if it would be fine ordering a "COMPAL CL51/AT23 KEYBOARD ENGLISH (US)" from ncix.com since they dont have a "COMPAL CL56 KEYBOARD ENGLISH (US)"...

Is this a Toshiba notebook?
If it is, I'm sure a Toshiba repair centre close to you can repair all those problems for you. If it is under warranty, you shouldn't have to pay anything. Otherwise I'm not too sure about the cost.
