I have the exact same problems! I've reinstalled three clean copies of Windows XP...one with and without SP2...same results. Purchased two new sticks of memory to see if that solved anything..nada. Hell...this thing even locks up in...

I think the XPS sounds better.....but nothing sucks more than the Powerbooks.

I'am not even sure I would upgrade the Nvidia in the sager. It runs pretty much everything right now full screen, full details! Even my XPS with the 256Meg Radeon holds it's own.

To me, the speakers are kinda crappy also...not near as bad as my powerbook though. The Dell XPS I have has much better sound...but that's about the only advantage it has.
