I just called again, and after about 10 minutes on hold....they just regurgitated the website spec of 32mb....made them do a real check and they also said the would email me......waiting.......

I would think that any deviation except user accessable slots (ram) would void the warranty. I seasrched the site and can't seem to find anything.
