A little update, I have upgraded the video drivers using Omega drivers. My first 3DMark05 without any other "tweaks" yet is 4511.

I have the MX1000.... No problems at all. I run it on Win 2000 and WinXP. Best mouse I have used to date.

You can also see this in the task manager. Under the performance monitor it will show two graphs (like having 2 CPU's) indicating that HT is enabled and functioning.
