I've tried the T2050 and T2250 and they both did not work. In line with another poster, the T1350 I purchased did work.

T2050 does not work. The one I tried led to the same result as nirvanaguy's T2060. Let us know how the Core Solo works out for you.

I'm pretty sure that it's you who went on ebay and bought the t2060 I was watching (and subsequently forgot about as the auction was ending) . Let us know how that works out for you.

If anybody tries this out with a Core 2 Duo of Pentium Dual Core, please let me know how it works out. It doesn't look like I'm going to be able to sell this notebook for a decent price, so I may end up keeping it. On a sidenote, CPU-Z...

From what I understand, Pentium M comes in Socket 478 and Socket 479 while Celeron M comes in Socket 479 and Socket M. In my C502US it's Socket M, so it shouldn't fit unless some kind of adapter exists.

Yeh when I sent them the first e-mail, they said 950gma. When I replied and told them the possible chipsets, they said 940gml. So I figure I'm going to sell this thing now. Thanks for your help. Anyone want a T2250? Make me an offer.

The T2250 has SL9DV on it. I can't find anything that says 945gml or 940gml. The sticker on the machine says Intel GMA 950 and I remember reading that that's the GPU for the 945 chipset. I sent HP an e-mail inquiry to double-check.
