Gutsy's been good to me, faster than XP with a lot more eye-candy, however there's a lot of power behind Puppy linux. I wanna try out simple pup, an XFCE variant of Puppy.

Well, I'm kinda lost why anyone would consider the m1730. It's HUGE. 2" thick, 10lbs (w/o power brick)... I mean you're never gonna move around with it, so may as well get a desktop for less money that's easy to upgrade as time...
