Does anyone know if these prices include the discount we're supposed to receive on upgrades if the system is still under warranty?
When I just called, the tech I spoke with said that Alienware is not offering a discount on these items! Wouldn't that be in violation of the warranty agreement?
To be honest, I've heard both opinions on this. Best bet would be to call Alienware and ask them.
But if it does, remember with Alienware you can upgrade while it is under warranty and the service is free, and the parts are discounted. So get the longest warranty you can and use it to upgrade.
How important is it to you to have SLI right out the door?
The reason I ask is this, the other thing you might want to think about is getting one GPU for now, waiting just a little bit for the next generation of GPUs to come out and then upgrade to SLI at that time. Word is that it isn't too long before we see them.

That's for new orders mate.
I just called and my pre-order no longer has any parts on back-order and is in production!
Thanks HH... So, from your experiences, any of these brands any better than the other?
Patriot, Transcend, Corsair, PNY Optima?
I was thinking about GeIl of GSkill, but I'm worried that the heat spreader won't work or won't fit in the m9750.
