I'm gonna return my CompUSA heat-pipe pad... it doesn't really work with the 6160. Perhaps the location of fans and such make it ineffective. I'm gonna buy one of those usb powered fan pads.

I have not done so yet... I'll open it tonight and check out the size.

The CPU fans are kind of loud... even after being replaced. Can i swap the fans with something else?

I bought the CompUSA one yesterday and its the same thing as the other expensive one (nexus tdd3000). I'm using a 6160... It does use heat-pipe technology. I've never used a notebook pad before but my fan does not come on as often....
