another question: what does the xp-m 3000 compare to as a P-m? i know its 1.6ghz but what would that be in p-m?

i saw that one. thought about it. im not really that concerned with the video card but whats better, the dedicated 32 mb or the shared 64 mb? just curious. i dont think itll really matter to me since i wont be pushing it too...

id say my budget is about $1200-$1300. id like to get one at a store if i could. rather just be able to get it quick. i looked at the emachines 6805/6809 but all the talk about cracking hinges turned me off.
