I tried a non dell one in my D620 an it refused to work

I going to, but I do not want to deal with the hassle of the return, so I figured if dell dealt with it just as I asked, and sent me the parts I requested I would give them the benefit of the doubt

I have a dual boot of XP and Vista set up right now on my M1330, it works great, just go to the dell site for the drivers, you do need to go into the bios and change the hard drive from ahci to ata, then it will install just fine.

The bloody thing ate my disk, and I wanted it back, besides, I bought the thing refurb and whoever took the thing apart to work on it was an idiot and did not put it back together right, there where pop panels out of place, stickers...

They are sending me a new drive for it, I really am loathe to take this thing apart again though

Well, my slot loading drive already failed, not a good sign....

ok, so I just bought this thing to play the new command and conguere, and whenever I unplug it the video fritzes, it does it some when plugged in but not as much, any ideas, and I just got the thing today too. Any ideas?
