Regarding the ACER warranty, I put in my serial number, and it reg. my system and started the one year clock on the basic warranty. My question, Can I purchase the extended warranty at any time during the first year? S7

I think you have your answer. The system is under min load and the speed is slow. At any rate, dont panic before you benchmark it. S7

I think Dothan cycles its clock speed according to load. Could be wrong tho. S7
