im having a problem with a new dvd combo drive i got. I can read all cd's and dvds, but when i want to play a game with the cd in, the program freezes! Anyone know how to fix this? Its REALLY getting on my nerves

my guess is that you have a program that you have installed. The time you installed it is when it turns on at night, becuase my guess is that it automatically checks for updates once a day, or every 24 hours since it was last installed
