Well I totaly took every connection out, and replaced each one firmly. Dare I say better than the day I got it. But still black vertical lines and occasionaly white lines every other pixel. So it seems to be the cable. Anyone else...

Ok I should resay it, vertical lines, not horizontal. If a mod could fix.

The only two things that should effect the LCD is the power, and video connections right? The other plug-in are for other components on the notebook, and thus if they are unplugged it should leave the monitor unaffected? I just saying...

I did number 2 which makes me think no big deal with the video output. Ill have done a form of number 1, with taking out the video connection and putting it back togather. But as for disconnection ever connection, I have not done that...
