No lag or choppiness at all really, not even in IF for the most part...mabe like 2-3 seconds of it while entering the area of IF where the bank and auction are but other then that none.
Here they are, as promised...Settings are all mid to high, shades are off by default and the FPS are shown in the bottom middle of the screen in yellow (I used the games fps meter (ctrl+R)) This is at 1024x768 Same settings/res...

I made a mistake it was at 1024x768, at 800x600 the game plays at around 30-40 fps. And yes it is very smooth, no jumpiness at all!
I have WoW running on the new m3200. Setting are mid to low, res at 800x600 and I'm getting about 20fps in the middle of IF. My specs on the m3200 are here: http://www.notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=133765
Thank you all for the comments, I found the promotions on the invoice and it has 2 of the 3 rebates, so i guess i still have to call about the $200 one...meh...

You could try the Doom 3 demo to see how it performs on your system (download it at fileplanet) it work ok on my m681o, as for The Sims 2 it works good my laptop on high detail at 1280 resoltion with little to no skips.
I just picked up a m6810 right before frances tore my town apart too, this laptop is definatly one of the best purchases i've made. Look for my review in a week or two.
