Like the title says, my Cl56 battery is getting pretty weak; where is a good reliable place to buy a new one? Thanks
I think if you just disable ez button altogether through msconfig it will go away.
Keep your compaq. After seeing lots of widescreen notebooks after I got my cl56, I'd gladly trade my laptop in for a lesser spec'ed widescreen laptop.
lol I'd be so afraid to take apart my laptop, I would probably forget how to put it back together This coming from a guy who's built about a dozen desktops
Wow that's beautiful, paint mine now I noticed you installed a fan on the bottom. What kind of fan did you use? Was it easy to install?
I actually just ordered a Samsung hard drive for my cl56 from newegg, because my hitachi has been vibrating a lot. It was either the samsung, toshiba, or fujitsu, and I chose samsung because I have 2 samsung hard drives in my desktop...
A laptop cooler pad or just a stand that props your notebook up would help a lot. They have them at bestbuy, office max or newegg.com.
Big as in size of the notebook? 8600's are pretty small.

Just wait for Omega's drivers based on the official 4.8's, or just use his 4.7's if you can't figure out how to mod the ATI drivers. As for frying for your card... only one emoticon can describe what comes to my mind after hearing that:
