hmmm....I couldn't tell if any of the other M6811s had the same problem...so I got the HP zv5260us.... *sigh*

I'm thinking of replacing the M6809 with a Compaq r3240us......if that one doesn't have the shiny screen, then I'll most likely get the Compaq r3275us. What I want to do is get the M6811, but how do I know that it wont crack on me?

I got those damn, cracked hindges........ The Best Buy 3 year service plan will take my M6809 back and replace it with any other lappy (if you pay the difference)...they will also transfer the warranty and the customization (I think)...

I've also looked at the HP zx5180us, but the M6809 just blows it away... well, thanks for the info....I'm off to get the M6809....and if I have any problems w/ it, I'll sure be posting in this forum again...
