hahah lcd kinda crapping out on me, the whole screen is red, I can still read stuff but its really annoying. I think the main cause is not the lcd itself but the connecting wires. Do you guys know where i can purchase just the wire...

oh yea for ur sound card issue u can just buy creative sound card for ur pcmcia slot, for ur monitor have u tried opening it up seeing if lcd inverter and monitor is plugged in correctly just in case, it might be loose.

Couple days ago, I opened up my laptop to apply artic silver 5 to my northbridge/gpu/heatsink. To my surprise, however, one of the screws connecting the heatsink directly was stripped. Without realizing it, i removed screws 1 and 2...

I opened up my laptop yesterday to put on the artic silver but the problem is one of the screws locking the heatsink is worn down so i can't unscrew it T_T. In other words, the hole that should fit a small screwdriver no longer fits...
