Memtest always shows a lower bandwidth than what the system is said to have for some reason. And I've found that tighter timings increases it, so it's not exactly measuring bandwidth. I'm not quite sure what that reading's supposed to mean.
I'm seeing reports that the new G0 stepping cpus need updated software to read the core temp properly... they're other people getting ~20c readings.
You probably need to find SATA drivers... and figure out a way to load them during the Windows install (presuming you don't have a floppy...).
You can't have the core temp being equal to the ambient. From what I've seen the core temp is always higher than the external temp. Those core temp readings are off.
400-500
Look up why ReadyBoost doesn't do much... same things probably apply. 7200rpm is better.
You can get XP on the Dell Vostro. Don't know if Acer gives you an option.
Do an ebay search on your model. You'll see the sellers listing every model the keyboard works with. I highly doubt current model laptops use the same keyboard though. Usually it's a family of older models that share one.
Also, I hear there's been a huge boost in battery life for the 2.2, presumably because of the LED-lit screen they use now.
