What do you find is the best way to clean your laptop screen(CL56 if it matters)? If I want to buy an lcd monitor for my laptop, would I need any special program or could I just plug it in? Thanks.

The Cl56 looks better in person and is surprisingly light/thin. The only major gripe I ahve with it is the average/below average screen. Comparing the screen to my friends powerbook almost made me cry but then I turn on my mxed graphics...

Well after a very short wait (11 days!) I recieved this gem from powernotebooks.com. I just had a quick question, is there a way to inprove the color contrast? The colors seem a little wishy-washy especially when I played City of Heroes...

I think it is better on the AOpen but I think its only a minimal difference, like a few minutes or so.

For me, powernotebooks was actually cheaper than discount laptops and ibuypower because I live in CA and would have to pay sales tax. So I get the best of both worlds.

Every thread I see everyone seems to opt for the 2.0 dothan but I ordered my compal cl56(wOOt) with 1.8. Is there any real difference in performance? On a simular note, I hear that I should have kept with the 1.7 as the 1.8 wasn't worth...

Well I'm certainly no expert but it seems wierd to me that you would opt for the 2.0 but not the 7200 hard drive. From the resellers I checked out, it seem more economical to take that with a 1.8 rather than the other way around,...
