I ordered a refurbished 8600 on Monday with a 3-year mail-in warranty, and the site wouldn't let me upgrade automatically. So I called the number to try to upgrade it for about $40, and they instead wanted to charge me an additional $140...
Let me ask this differently: does anyone who's had a bad Hitachi screen have the part # from the invoice handy where I could compare? If I got a bad one, I'm going to try to get Dell to send me another before the first even arrives.
