I agree, I was surprised to see the lack of real estate on the lower model, but we all know more res more strain on graphics as the years go by...so maybe slightly lower is ok?
true. My friend brought over his new macbook PRO tonight so I could check out the screen resolution. Its the same 720p as the basic srceen on the M15x. It's got some space, but coming off a 20 inch LCD, it was hard to adjust to. I think...
True....but I like the desktop. Am I silly for saving cash and going with the 2099 version? If it had the alien FX id be sold...thats what holds me back, am I gonna kick myself for not getting the FX version...I dont need the 8800 GTX....
I dont plan on gaming on it too much, more like a multimedia video editing etc computer. Thats why the 2099 version fits me best...but with no Alien FX its disappointing...however the 2699 may be overkill. I need the quickship with FX!...
Yeah saving 300 bucks sounds good to me...I may be an idiot and do 1 year as well, then ill be here begging for someone to help when the mobo burns out LOL

Is it finally time for Commish to go for it? I avoided the XPS 1530 sale, came close to clicking order agai....friend is convincing me Macbook Pro is the way to go...but the M15X has taken hold of me like no other model before...
