I see your point...as a gaming laptop, the 8800M GTX is where its at. I guess cutting costs in other areas would make sense then, like processor. The macbook pro is another option for me, though I've never seen them with an LED...

I like high res...but I think the base is still quality. I think I've got an SXGA+ on the 600m and it's quite small, but sharp, being an outdated laptop.

yeah me too. I dont need a lot of crazy options though, it is a second computer.

yes I noticed that, the FX. I bet the case is still sweet though, but for that cash I want the FX.

The UXGA and the high end M15X is gonna run well north of 3 grand with warranty. My thing with laptops was that they are so prone to issues, that I wouldn't in my lifetime go beyond 2k for one. I'd save the 3 grand for a desktop. Just my...
