just did hp support chat and was able to get from the person that it does support core duo t2250 processor, the hp part number is 441702-001

I think this laptop can support atleast coreduo, compaq sells the c500 series in certain european countires with coreduo , look at this link http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/noteboo...400680p,00.htm

so any update on this, is replacing the cpu a possibility for the c500 series laptops
