I will have 1gb-2gb memory. I wonder if there is a way to adjust or keep the amount of memory the video card uses at a set number rather then having it move up and down based upon its need.

I meant HYPERMEMORY lol. The Gatewat cx200 has the x600 64mb with Hypermemory. It is about 6.5 pounds but i am using it for many things. I have a laptop that is that weight now and its pretty darn easy to carry around for me...
