Have you guys checked in the "Sounds & Audio Devices" options in the Control Panel, to make sure all the relevant channel volumes are raised?

Doesn't flicker on mine until you move/scroll it BTW, I opened it out fully using a graphics editor to fill out the whole screen 1:1 without any resize.
