Reinstalled the game and actually due to another issue I reinstalled the OS and also replaced the hard drive. Any other suggestions?
Actually that's the problem . . . the game won't even start up. Therefore I can't adjust the video settings
Yes I have Vista completely updated with the most recent patch of Battlefield 2 . . . anything else anyone?
Try pressing F10 when the compute first starts up . . .there should be some option to return to default. Try that. Actually, before try to toggle with some settings there in that menu set. I was able to turn off that annoying beeping...
Actually the option to override, even though it's in XP is not in Vista (yet . . . hopefully the service pack will fix that) . . . anything else?
I need to change my refresh rate to 60hz from 59hz . . . if I override this could possibly damage my hardware . . . is this a safe change or should I leave it be for the sake of saving my computer? . . . it's only 1 hz as far as I see...
I'll try the override . . . but I'm hoping Service Pack 1 for Vista in Early 2008 will help with this problem. I don't have any antivirus software . . . so far my computer has been fine without any of that OS-slowing-software.
I bought Battlefield 2 Complete in hoping that I would be able to play on my Vista HP dv9000t laptop. Unfortunately I cannot. Everytime I start the game the logo comes up as it should then it flickers black then crashes to the desktop...
