It keeps the DPI and icon settings from the previous drivers, but it takes one reboot to finalize all the settings. That's why it looks different for one boot. If you prefer the small smaller stuff, change your DPI to 96 instead of 120...

The good thing about the Socket card is that it's also a separate CF card that can be used in virtually any device. With that one, you're stuck to devices with PC card slots. The extra cash is well worth the CF card IMO.

I don't spend that much time on my PC, but I download many GB's from newsgroups every day. I need a bigger HD for my 3200 soon. It's hard to keep up with all the isos with an 80GB HD. I have burn them to DVD almost imediately to make...

Dothan is just an upgraded Banias, so if they really do have something that blows away Banias it will also be significantly better than Dothan. It would be sweet to have three players.
